For whatever occasion you’re celebrating, we’ve put together a list of running gifts for Mom. From accessories to running shoes and everything in between, we think you’ll find something that will put a smile on her face.
15 Running Gifts Mom Will Love
If you’re looking for a special gift to show your the Motherrunner in your life how special she is, we think you’ll find something from our list below.
It was so hard to narrow this list down because we have so many things that our team is loving right now. But if you’d like to have something to wrap, this list has something for all budgets!
1. All the Pockets- Oiselle Pockito Shorts
Now I admit I have not tested these yet, but based on my experience with the jogger and some other styles below this is on my MUST list. Instead of holding the phone on the side of your leg, you can actually put it in the waist band.
It’s a bit like having a FlipBelt on, except it’s part of your shorts so no worries that it will wind up riding up! These are also multiple inseams available, which will make these a great option for every body type!
For whatever your Mom likes to carry on the run, she’ll have plenty of room and won’t get worn down.
2. Dresses for Spring and Summer- Title Nine Speed Racer Tunic
Coach Amanda wore this dress to walk all over the Galapagos and now have the Getaway jumpsuit as well for our summer adventures around Colorado (first up Crested Butte). Use them as a swim cover up, a post workout quick change to run errands or a cute weekend outfit.
Both of the pieces she has also contain UPF 50 protection which is a super added bonus. If your Mom is someone who loves spending time outside, this dress will give her a little extra protection!
3. Running to Casual Shoes- Cloudsurfer 2
If you’re looking for a shoe so that Mom can wear running and then maybe right to brunch, this is it!
Cloudsurfer 2 is a moderate cushioned, lower stack height, running shoe for shorter easy runs that’s also high on our list of great walking shoes.
This latest shoe combines soft, cushioned foam in the midsole, a redesigned upper and a firm rubber outsole. I was pleasantly surprised with how comfortable the footbed felt the first time I tried these on, and that had me constantly coming back for more.
Bonus points because these do come in some really pretty colorways that will perfectly match almost any outfit.

4. Stylish Shades for Any Activity- Tifosi SHUMO Sunglasses
If you’re looking for a new pair of sunglasses as we head into the sunshinier months, look no further. I am obsessed with this pair of SHUMO sunglasses. They’re functional but also super stylish and can be thrown on with a casual outfit.
Unlike other pairs of Tifosi, the SHUMO line is designed with oversized lenses, giving you full coverage. They’re super lightweight (only 29grams!) and hold their form even if you sit them on top of your head.
Extra bonus perk alert!! If your Mom wears prescription glasses, you can get Tifosi lenses swapped out for your prescription so that you can also rock these super cool shades on your runs.
If she’s someone who needs a larger, more accommodating fit when it comes to sunglasses, run to go snag your Mom (and yourself!) a pair or three of these!
Anyone who shops with the link will also get a special treat of 20% off when you add something to your cart!
5. Protecting Her Skin- Elta MD UV Daily Sunscreen
As someone who is easily prone to dark spots, which happens more and more as our hormones shift, Coach Amanda is NEVER without sunscreen in her daily moisturizer and especially with running.
Her dermatologist said this was their number one brand and so it’s now her daily option, which makes it incredibly easy to throw on before she ever steps outside. This isn’t going to burn your eyes when you start to sweat which is the case with some other brands.
This one also comes in tinted options, which many runners love as it almost acts like a foundation.
If brown spots are an issue, you definitely want an option with Zinc Oxide or Titanium Oxide!
6. Staying Hydrated on the Run- Camelbak Circuit Hydration Vest
Over the years, CamelBak has become synonymous with on-the-go hydration, and for a good reason! They recently updated Circuit is one of their most popular running bests and a great one to start off with.
With the CamelBak Circuit, you get a lightweight hydration vest that includes a reliable 1.5-liter reservoir. The vest also features a zippered cellphone pocket, a reservoir with a functional open and close valve, and two flask pockets for additional bottle storage.
It’s made of a breathable mesh that keeps air flowing while you run and break a sweat.
I like that the pockets are in front so I can easily grab my phone and am not carrying more water than needed.
It tightens to fit close to your body. You won’t feel it moving, and you won’t hear water sloshing around. Bonus points right there!
7. A Hat for Every Season👉Ciele GOCap SC
This is a hat your Mom can plan to reach for from Spring to Fall and bonus points because can just throw it in the wash when needed!
The 5 panel fit is comfortable and easily adjusted to any size, and the COOLmatic™ fabric is super soft. It also dries quicker and feels noticeably more breathable compared to Sprints hats.
8. Stylish and Functional Gym Bag – 3-in-1 Gym Duffle Bag
With a specific space for your shoes, you’ll never feel like the gym germs are being spread around! Plus this bag is made from sustainable materials which feels good, while you look good!
And she always knows you care when you buy Lulu…I don’t know if that’s their slogan, but I’ve yet to met someone who doesn’t find their gear attractive and super high quality.
Available in a silver drop or a rainforest green, the outer straps make it easy to also carry a yoga mat or in my case shove that winter jacket!
9. Organized On the Go – Lululemon Yoga Mat Strap
I LOVE my little strap. I can quickly put it on my mat, but don’t have to shove it in a bag. I took the time to find a cute mat, so I want it to be visible!
BONUS points this strap is durable and long enough to be used during class to aid in those stretches! It’s a 2-for-1 gift for athletic women.
10. Tracking All Her Data- Garmin Forerunner 265
I’ve tested a WIDE variety of GPS watches and told you all about them, from Polar to COROS to Garmin, and what I’ve found is that Garmin often has the full range of features that make it both a sport training and lifestyle watch that can be worn all the time. PLUS it has an AMOLED screen which really steps this up.
The Garmin 265 is pricey, but a durable watch that will do EVERYTHING.

11. Redlight Therapy at Home- Biomax 600
We recently did an article on red light therapy for runners, which meant of course we had to put a variety of things to the test. This is an area where the science is still a little back and forth for us, but our testers had some thoughts.
Simply taking time every day to sit for 20 minutes in front of this nice warm light, was a lovely experience. It forced us to pause, relax and breathe. Hmmmm who thinks that might be really helpful in lowering our stress levels, improving our sleep and thus reducing pain? We do.
This particular panel is much stronger than anything you’ll be finding at the drug store and also goes deeper. Many red lights are good for the top layer of your skin, that’s why the masks are so popular, but they don’t penetrate deep enough to actually help the tissue.
Biomax combines both red light and near infrared therapy to help improve results.
12. Getting Her Daily Steps- Walking Pad X21
What better way to get in some extra steps while watching the big game or while working than a walking pad? The Walking Pad X21 is easy to set up anywhere in the house and is super quiet so it won’t create a ton of noise. If your Dad grumbles about not having the extra space, we promise this is a good alternative.
13. Fueling Her Workouts- FuelGoods
Want to set your Mom up with some snacks that she can use while running, going to yoga, or maybe even pilates? If you’re not sure what he’d enjoy, check out these pre-made boxes with some of Coach Amanda’s favorite fuel.
The boxes aren’t the only way to go. If you already know what fuel he likes, then drop it in your cart and get ready to rock and roll! They’re doing a great job on pricing and continuing to add brands all the time.
You will even get a discount through our team store!
14. The Perfect Purse Snacks- Aloha Bars
Listen we gotta keep that pantry stocked to avoid energy crashes and hunger! This option avoids any allergies and tastes soooooo good.
One of Coach Amanda’s favorite bar brands is the plant-based Aloha Bar. These bars are nutrient-dense with at least 14 grams of protein and healthy fats to help fuel your body. The bars are low in sugar, gluten-free, certified vegan, USDA Organic, and Non-GMO Project verified. Another plus is the sheer number of flavors.
The plant-based protein is a blend of brown rice protein and pumpkin seed protein. The bars are also dairy- and soy-free.
If you’ve never had these before, we suggest the sample pack where you can select 6 flavors to try. You’ll get 2 of each flavor for a 12-bar package.
Aloha also offers mini bars with 6 grams of protein, protein drinks with 20 grams of protein and prebiotics, and protein powders with 18 grams of protein. You can bundle and save with packages of drinks and bars.
15. Cheers to Gut Health – Previnex Gut and Greens
Coach Amanda is a well known poo pooer of greens powders. So even though she has recommended Previnex for YEARS as a probiotic and fish oil and joint health, well she said no for awhile on this. But as always they showed me real data and how they didn’t just throw everything in, but truly stuck to what was proven to help.
AND they have folks who found relief from IBS using it. All right, it’s become a lifesaver after she got so sick during her South America trip. Coach Amanda can tell it’s helping to rebuild my gut and thus my immune system!
Code runtothefinish will get you 15% off anything from Previnex and it’s fair to say we fully support everything this brand does because of the science.
Bonus Gift Idea
Helping Her Reach Her Goals👉1-1 Run Coaching
Sometimes all you need is that personalized program to reach your goals and beat your PR!
If you have a runner in your life that seems to have plateaued and can’t find the motivation to run, or feel a bit lost, then one-on-one coaching is something that they’re going to thank you for!
Many runners feel that just because they’re not professional athletes, they probably don’t deserve (or need) personalized, customized training programs. But, as a running coach, I’m here to tell you that’s absolutely not true!
Every single runner at every stage of their journey can benefit from some one-on-one coaching.
So if you’re truly looking to make the runner in your life feel special, gift them a month of 1-1 coaching, and don’t forget to record their reaction when you gift it to them! A few years ago the husband of one of my now athletes emailed to say he knew she wanted it but would never sign up on her own, so we did it for her!
