With the launch of the 2025 F3 season just days away, here is everything that you need to know ahead of the new campaign.
2025 marks a new era for F3 as a new Dallara F3 chassis is introduced which offers an opportunity for surprises as teams get to grips with new machinery, whilst several rookies will look to upset the returning experienced drivers.
Now here is a full guide to everything that you need to know about the 2025 F3 season.
Teams & Drivers
Driver Switches
- Noel Leon has moved to PREMA after he competed with VAR in 2024 season.
- Noah Strømsted has joined F3 full time but has moved to Trident from MP Motorsport, having represented the latter in the final round last season at Monza, Italy.
- Charlie Wurz has switched to Trident following Jenzer’s exit from the category.
- Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak has switched from AIX Racing to Campos.
- Nikola Tsolov left ART GP at the end of last season to move to Campos.
- Joshua Dufek departed AIX Racing to join Hitech GP.
- Santiago Ramos left Trident at the end of last season to join Van Amersfoort Racing (VAR).
Driver Changes
- Brando Badoer and Ugo Ugochukwu replaced Gabriele Mini and Arvid Lindblad at PREMA following the latter pair’s promotions into F2.
- Rafael Camara has joined Trident to replace Sami Meguetounif who secured a promotion to the Italian team’s F2 line-up.
- Tuukka Taponen has joined ART GP after he finished third in 2024 FRECA and had made his F3 debut with the team in a guest appearance in Belgium last season.
- James Wharton has graduated into F3 with ART GP after he finished as 2024 FRECA vice-champion, and had made his F3 debut with Hitech GP at Silverstone last season.
- Gerrard Xie steps up with Hitech GP from GB3, having ran in that series with the British team last season.
- Bruno del Pino has graduated into F3 with MP Motorsport after he finished third in 2024 Eurocup-3 for the Dutch team.
- Alessandro Giusti sealed a graduation into F3 with MP Motorsport after he finished fourth in 2024 FRECA with ART GP.
- Theophile Nael joins VAR and F3 after he managed a ninth-placed championship finish in FRECA last season.
- Ivan Domingues secured a F3 seat with VAR after he finished tenth in FRECA last year.
- Louis Sharp has stayed with Rodin as he steps up to F3 following his British F4 title success in 2024.
- Roman Bilinksi has stepped up to F3 with Rodin after he finished 15th in 2024 FRECA season.
- Javier Sagrera will join AIX Racing after he finished as vice-champion in 2024 Eurocup-3 season.
- Nicola Marinangeli has secured a return to single-seater racing after he finished third with AF Corse in 2024 International GT Open.
- Nicola Lacorte has graduated to F3 with DAMS after he finished 21st in 2024 FRECA season.
- Christian Ho steps to F3 with DAMS following his 2024 Eurocup-3 title triumph.
Team Change
- Jenzer left the series at the end of 2024 and have been replaced by DAMS who opted to retain one of their drivers – Zagazeta, who is partnered by Lacorte and Ho.
