OKX has announced the listing of PROMPT (Wayfinder) on its spot trading markets. The listing process will begin with deposits opening at 2:00 am UTC on April 9, 2025. A call auction for PROMPT will occur from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm UTC on April 10, 2025, followed by the commencement of PROMPT/USDT spot trading at 1:00 pm UTC the same day. Withdrawals for PROMPT will be available starting at 10:00 am UTC on April 11, 2025.
To manage market volatility during the initial phase of trading, OKX will implement specific risk control measures. For the first five minutes after trading begins, market orders will not be allowed, and the maximum amount per limit order and net position per user will be capped at $10,000. These restrictions will be lifted after the initial five minutes.
Call Auction and Price Limit Rules
The call auction mechanism will be utilized for the PROMPT/USDT listing, lasting one hour. During this period, users can submit buy and sell orders at their desired prices. The total value of each user’s buy orders during the call auction must not exceed $50,000. In the last five minutes of the call auction, users can place orders but cannot cancel or modify them.
Price limit rules will be applied to ensure orderly trading. Initially, closing price-based limit rules will be used until a stable index price is available. Once available, index-based limit rules will be implemented. OKX reserves the right to adjust parameters or switch limit price calculation methods based on market conditions without prior notice.
