MI vs SRH Match Highlights: Sublime accuracy from MI bowlers and a different Wankhede pitch restrict SRH batters

The Sunrisers Hyderabad came from one of the most famous wins, and any opposition in the very next match would be looking to be defensive against such a batting unit. However, the Mumbai Indians bowlers, with the likes of Deepak Chahar and Jasprit Bumrah, looked very offensive, searching for wickets early on with yorkers as well as slower balls, which baffled the SRH openers as they were scanty of early runs despite no wickets falling in the powerplay.
The middle overs were entirely dominated by the MI bowlers. Skipper Pandya picked the first breakthrough with Abhishek Sharma’s wicket, and Will Jacks, too, responded with the wicket of Ishan Kishan in the very next over. Travis Head was given a lifeline due to the no-ball from Pandya, but he could not help much as Jacks dismissed him in the very next over.
Jasprit Bumrah and Trent Boult did a fairly good job with the death overs, where they did not give away runs while picking wickets as well. Though some runs off Deepak Chahar and later skipper Pandya in the final over gave SRH the total they put on the board.

Mumbai Indians stepped onto the ground not in order to chase a huge total, as the Sunrisers handed them a target of 163 for their 20 overs. Rohit Sharma was once again included as the impact player, and he came in to open the innings alongside Ryan Rickelton.
Rohit gave Mumbai Indians the start they needed; he added momentum to the MI innings, smashing runs off Shami and Cummins, before being dismissed by the skipper himself. Rohit’s early 26 was followed by a 31 from Rickelton with a lifeline when Klaasen brought his gloves in front of the stumps to cost a no-ball to his team.
SKY once again got off to a good consolidating start, with Will Jacks on the other hand. SKY scored a firm 26 before being dismissed by the skipper again, while Will Jacks, too, after a decently made 35 runs, was sent back by Pat Cummins in the final over of his spell. Pandya and Tilak finished the game after much drama in the 18th over, with multiple wickets giving away just 1 run from Eshan Malinga.
