If Watford wants to get itself into the EFL Championship promotion picture then a winning result against Swansea City this week would be a great start to do so.
Caleb Wiley and his Watford teammates welcome the Welsh club to Vicarage Road on Wednesday. Wiley, who joined on loan from Chelsea in January, made his club debut on Saturday despite the club’s 2-1 home loss to Millwall. The 20-year-old won one duel and completed four passes, playing the final 19 minutes of the match.
After missing ample time through injury, Wiley will seek a positive end to the season as Watford tries to finish in the top-six. Tom Cleverley’s squad sit six points back of sixth place with 10 matches remaining this campaign.
In Europe, Gio Reyna and Borussia Dortmund aim to advance in Champions League play. Tanner Tessmann and Lyon aim to do the same in Europa League action.
