Two Brazilian professionals are shaping the future of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity with purpose, innovation, and social impact.
Purpose-Driven Technology: Leadership Beyond the Code
In today’s competitive and fast-paced Information Technology (IT) sector, innovation is no longer a differentiator—it’s a necessity. But when innovation is driven by strong values and social responsibility, it becomes transformative. That’s exactly what Carlos Eduardo Costa Oliveira and Márcio Silva, two standout professionals from Brazil, are doing: merging cutting-edge technology, artificial intelligence (AI), and social impact in their respective careers.
Márcio Silva: Democratizing Artificial Intelligence Through Education
An AI specialist and tech solution enthusiast, Márcio Silva is in the final phase of becoming an official instructor for the globally recognized certification course “EXIN BCS Artificial Intelligence Essentials.” His goal? To equip the next generation of professionals with the knowledge to apply AI strategically and practically.
“AI is no longer a promise of the future—it’s a reality transforming every sector,” he explains. “The EXIN course allows me to share essential AI knowledge with professionals who need to understand its impact and applications in an accessible, hands-on way.”
Márcio sees education as the gateway to digital inclusion, aiming to break technical and social barriers and make AI tools available and beneficial for all.
Carlos Eduardo: Tech Pioneer with a Social Mission
With over 25 years of experience and a career filled with high-impact projects, Carlos Eduardo Costa Oliveira founded vBold LLC, a company that specializes in cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and ESG-oriented IT solutions.
Carlos is currently leading a patent-pending global initiative focused on generating employment opportunities for individuals with cognitive disabilities, offering the solution free to companies worldwide. It’s a bold and inspiring intersection of technology and social commitment.
“It’s not enough to innovate in products—we must innovate in how these products serve society,” says Carlos. “A company’s true success is measured by the impact it generates.”
National and International Recognition
Carlos was honored on February 7, 2025, with the prestigious Order of the Three Brazilian Heroes, an award previously given to notable figures such as Brazilian Minister of Citizenship Osmar Terra for his work on the Criança Feliz early childhood program.
He also became a permanent member of ABRASCI – the Brazilian Academy of Sciences, Arts, History, and Literature – occupying chair number 15 in the Exact Sciences division. This honor recognizes his contributions as an author, speaker, and educator, reinforcing his status as a thought leader in technology and society.

Cybersecurity in Action: From Strategy to the Page
In March 2024, Carlos published “Navigating Through the Challenges of Information Security”, a book now sold in five countries, offering a practical guide for organizations navigating today’s digital security threats. It’s already considered a key reference for professionals and businesses aiming to strengthen their cybersecurity strategies.
“Technology must be secure by design. Security isn’t a cost—it’s a strategic asset,” Carlos emphasizes.
Márcio echoes this vision, underscoring the need for responsibility and strategic thinking in AI adoption:
“Artificial intelligence can be a powerful ally, but only if implemented responsibly. We must train professionals to identify risks and protect data—trust is crucial for successful AI solutions.”
Strong Educational Foundations, Aligned Purpose
Both professionals boast impressive educational backgrounds. Carlos holds a Law degree from Universidade São Francisco, a Cloud Computing specialization from Unyleya University, and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Global Business with a focus on Data Privacy at Florida Christian University (FCU). He’s also certified in AWS Cloud, EXIN DPO, ISO, AI, ITIL, and advanced technologies such as VMware and Veritas.
Márcio, on the other hand, is finalizing his international AI certification with EXIN and has been dedicated to leveraging his expertise to deliver smart, strategic tech solutions across sectors.
Conclusion: Brazil as a Rising Global Force in AI and Cybersecurity
Carlos and Márcio are powerful examples of how Brazil is emerging not just as a consumer of global tech trends, but as an exporter of innovation, talent, and purpose-driven solutions in AI and cybersecurity.
Their work represents more than professional achievement—it reflects a broader movement where Brazilian ingenuity is contributing to the global conversation on ethics, inclusion, and digital transformation.
Whether through inclusive employment initiatives, next-gen AI education, or strategic security leadership, Carlos and Márcio are proving that Brazil is home to thought leaders who are helping shape the future of technology on a global scale.
“We want to build a future where technology, artificial intelligence, and security are accessible and safe for everyone. That’s the legacy we’re building,” Carlos concludes.
