Oh hi, friends! If you’ve been following along with the reveal of Client Home Sweet Home, you’ve probably caught on that I am NOT keeping it short ‘n sweet. For those of you who know me, it should be no surprise that I love to chat with you all — whether it’s in a car chat on IG stories, in the comments of my posts, meeting IRL at High Point Market, or right here via the ol’ blog. I’m so happy you dudes have been loving these reveals. ICYMI, check out part one here and part two here!
Soooo let’s get into PART THREE — sharing all about the primary suite, AKA where I like to post up for a good work-from-bed sesh with a glass o’ Pinot. But first, sharing the ‘before’ that I was workin’ with….

Primary Bedroom
Okay now let’s get into the details of the updated space, because I can’t stare at that wallpaper anymore….HA! For the primary bedroom, I pretty much kept to the theme we have goin’ throughout the rest of the house — Strip it down to the basics, elevate the details, slap on a fresh coat of paint, and TA-DA….you’ve got a brand new vibe! For the walls, I went with 50% Lucido Roman Clay by Texston for some really pretty warmth and texture. And although it’s not pictured, there are gorgeous built-ins lining the wall opposite the bed. I brightened the space back up a bit by painting those a midtone warm greige color with a touch of khaki green, Desert Suede (DE6206) by Dunn Edwards to be specific. Beyond that, I brought in some of my favorite Shoppe items, a vintage-inspired Loloi rug from my collection, and some pretty ambient lighting. It’s officially been AMBERFIED!

Primary Bathroom
Believe it or not, some of my most frequently asked questions are about this bathroom. And a coupla years back, I shared some deets on the fixtures used in the space. Just in case you’re a newbie and wanna check it out, including the link! Now onto the reno, because this is a BIG one, folks….
The bathroom underwent so many changes – we subbed the shiny wood floors for gorgeous limestone paver tiles and opted for an all-new custom vanity to replace the outdated one seen above. Not many ‘after’ pics of the shower, but believe me, that was a HUGE undertaking! Took out all the wall tile, stone, and fixtures and replaced everything with pretty stuff that fit my vibe. WHEW! Beyond those major updates, we gave everything a a coat of paint, beautiful new lighting fixtures, and brought in alllll the Shoppe goodies. Check out the linky links below. That’s all for now, LOVE YA BYEEE!
