
Belgian racing driver, Amaury Cordeel has replaced Christian Mansell at Rodin Motorsport for 2025 F2 season.
With just over a week until the season-opener in Melbourne from 14-16 March, Australia, Mansell stood down from his seat on Tuesday (4 March) for ‘personal reasons’ which are currently unexplained.

Rodin have consequently recruited experienced F2 driver, Cordeel to replace Mansell with the Belgian having raced in the series for Van Amersfoort Racing, Virtuosi and Hitech GP across the last three seasons, during which he scored 73 points combined across those three campaigns.
Addressing his unexpected return to F2, Cordeel said that he is “delighted” to return to the series and is keen to achieve a good season with three years of experience under his belt.
“I’m very much looking forward to working with the team to maximise our potential and achieve some strong results together.”
Rodin’s Sporting Director and F2 Team Manager, Benn Huntingford added: “We’re very pleased to welcome Amaury into the team for the 2025 season.
“We have a lot to learn about each other quickly, having missed pre-season testing, but we’re looking forward to taking advantage of his experience and knowledge of the current F2 car and all that he has learned from his time in the series so far. He is a great addition to the team and we look forward to working with him this season.”
