“Dejphon Chansiri, the supporters of Sheffield Wednesday have had enough. We are drawing a line.” @1867News make their feelings clear.
A Twitter post is doing the rounds online, reflecting fans’ frustration with his leadership and the club’s stagnation while also referencing the ongoing tensions, as evidenced by prior protests with fans demanding change due to perceived mismanagement and lack of progress.
On Wednesday (19 March), a Twitter account with the username @1867News wrote: To Dejphon Chansiri:
The supporters of #SWFC have had enough. We are drawing a line. #EnoughIsEnough
We want a club we feel part of and proud of.
We want leadership we believe in.
We want to see a plan we can get behind.
We want our club to progress on the field and the decline in our infrastructure to be halted.
We want players, staff, fans and our stadium to be treated with dignity and respect.
We cannot tolerate the gap between us and our rivals getting even wider.
WE WANT CHANGE.
We are all aligned in this position. We will not back down. We are Wednesday ’till we die.
We the fans, and lifeblood of this club respectfully demand that Mr Chansiri choose one of the three following options:
1. Show us your plan to take the club forward. Or:
2. Accept, implement and fund our plan, allowing fans to take the club forward. Or:
3. Stand aside in favour of a new owner who has the strategy, leadership and capital required to take the club forward.
THERE IS NO FOURTH OPTION.
Watch the video below, it sees those from the The Wednesday ‘Til I Die Podcast chat to Symon from @1867News to see if there have been any new developments off the field. The chat praised for being ‘perfectly articulated’…

This is what Twitter users are saying as @1867News tweet “Dejphon Chansiri, supporters of Sheffield Wednesday have had enough. We’re drawing a line.”…
@veggiekrays: Genuinely can’t believe fans are arguing against you on this pal. This is the minimum fans deserve. I don’t hate Chansiri. I just think he’s got no idea how to run a football club and is too stubborn to take proper advice and have someone telling him he’s doing it wrong
@RoyalBloodtat2: Great podcast. Thank you for all your doing to make fans aware of the challenges facing our club. Let’s stick together, no one wants to be getting humiliated by wilder, who is saying things in the media that is spot on. Enough is Enough! Wawaw?
@Markmoorhouse2: @1867News Simon I’m so impressed with your Energy & Passion I would make you Chairman in a heartbeat 💯% X is Not real life we got off on not a great start but I would just like to say I wish you all the very best with it. If you ever need anything just DM me Cheers Mate 💙👍
@djdjfjfjtjrjrhd: Thank you Symon for all you are doing for SWFC. If only more of the fanbase were aware of the desperate situation the club is in. God bless you.
@pabowls: Perfectly articulated. We have a sliding doors moment here. We have the beginnings of a platform that has the potential for us to become an established Premier club in the next few years. The failure to grasp that opportunity will see us as a third division side long term.
@danielarcher92: We want a club that sends ticket to Oxford United instead of Oxford City
@Marshallswfc1: Just watched the podcast ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. That interview as opened my eyes
@mark1867bryan: Absolutely nailed it. 👏 Surely all Wednesday fans have to get right behind this. Brilliant interview on YouTube too. 💙🦉#SWFC # EnoughIsEnough #WAWAW
@DaveRaw11: @1867News The bloke is going nowhere without a shove. Unfortunately, as much as I hate it, I think this will only happen when we are back in League 1 and heading for League 2. I hope all the fans can unite to prevent further demise. #EnoughIsEnough #SWFC @TheStarOwls
@Justom29: How are people still backing Chansiri or not even pushing him to provide a plan. When will they turn, when tickets are 100 quid? When them lot down the road get even further ahead? When we eventually go down again? #swfc
@s6_swfc: Let’s get behind @1867News and there ideas now. There is a plan here and if the fan base doesn’t least try then don’t complain when we get worst and tread water in the league below. Enough is enough! #swfc
@matt_h4: 100% behind this get him out our club #chansiriout #swfc
@ScottDicko1: Every #swfc @swfc fan should listen to the WTID podcasts (x2) and digest the view before being negative it is eye opening and an insight to how the club is run. I have no connection to either but then I’m sure this guy will get everyone behind him
@IngloriousTward: Like @1867News points out, I have long thought Chansiri wants out yet he’s so incompetent that he has no clue how to do it. His pride and attempts to save face is what is killing #SWFC. I adore my club – I just want it to run properly and to compete. #EnoughIsEnough
@matt_h4: 100% behind this get him out our club #chansiriout #swfc
@peter_jknight: I wasn’t a fan of what this guy says on Twitter but I suggest all Wednesday fans have an open mind, follow the link and listen to what he has to say. He does talk a lot of sense.
@caistorowl: Fantastic interview. Simon articulates a lot of the thoughts/suspicions I’ve had for a while. My only concern s that DC had been keeping the club on a care and maintenance basis until Att can take over (does he have a large trust fund due soon?) but like a lot of MOD properties that are on care and maintenance they just fall into disrepair and are ultimately irreparably damaged.
@J_swfc1867: Could listen to this bloke talk Sheffield Wednesday for ages @1867News
@J_Barnes15: An absolutely fantastic interview from start to finish, this is the correct time, let’s make this happen, Together as one #SWFC #EnoughIsEnough #WAWAW
@dannytimm: Fantastic listen. Hopefully an eye opener for those who still support Chansiri. Ultimately I don’t see Chansiri leaving amicably or even selling amicably, I can see this being a messy divorce. @WTIDPOD #swfc
