Fetty Wap’s Sister Shares Emotional Plea, Calls For Rapper To Be Released Early From Prison
Fetty Wap’s sister, Divinity Maxwell-Butts, is speaking out with a heartfelt plea, hoping to secure a pardon for her brother’s 6-year prison sentence.
In a message posted to the rapper’s official Instagram page, Divinity re-shared a story debunking rumors of his early release, writing:
“April is Second Chance Month—a time to recognize that people deserve redemption, not just punishment. My brother has taken responsibility and served over half his sentence for a nonviolent offense. He is scheduled to be released in 2027, but justice should also mean mercy.”
She added:
“His sentence should be commuted so he can come home to his family, his children, and his purpose. It’s time. #PardonFetty #SecondChanceMonth #BringHimHome”
