Fizyr, Cognibotics, and Zivid have joined forces to create a groundbreaking automated bin picking solution, set to revolutionize the logistics and automation industry. The product was unveiled on Wednesday 9 April, 2025 in Delft, Netherlands and is expected to pick up to 2,000 articles per hour with an impressive 99.5% accuracy.
The solution, named the Cognibotics HKM1800, combines the best-of-breed components from each company. This includes Fizyr’s PANOPTICTM, an advanced vision software that handles segmentation, shape detection, and material detection, as well as Zivid’s 2+R-series 3D camera, which captures true-to-reality point clouds in under 150 milliseconds. The HKM1800 robot, designed by Cognibotics, boasts a 10m² reach and can achieve a pick rate of up to 2,000 articles per hour.
According to Fizyr CEO Ken Fleming, this collaboration has resulted in an unprecedented level of speed and accuracy, making it the fastest automated bin picking solution in the market.
