IPL 2025 GT vs RR Highlights: Sudarshan’s 82 takes Titans to a landmark double-hundred

Rajasthan Royals skipper Sanju Samson won the toss and opted to bowl at the Titans arena. Shubman Gill and Sai Sudarshan, the dynamic duo, came in to open for the Gujarat Titans. Sudarshan has been the Titans’ best batter this season and is also the third-highest scorer coming into the game.
Shubman Gill was dismissed early in the game, with Jofra Archer’s second over and GT’s third over in the powerplay. Despite the early fall of the skipper, Sudarshan displayed his stunning form alongside Jos Buttler, the second-highest run-scorer for the Titans.
Sudarshan remained firm on one end, building partnerships alongside Buttler, Shahrukh Khan, and later Rahul Tewatiya to take Titans to a convincing total of 217 runs in their 20 overs.
IPL 2025 GT vs RR Highlights: Rashid’s comeback as GT dominate RR batters at home

The Rajasthan Royals never looked settled in their big chase at the high-scoring Ahmedabad Stadium. The opener Yashasvi Jaiswal once again continued his bad patch of form as he was sent back in the second over of the powerplay by Arshad Khan.
Nitish Rana was also dismissed early as Mohammed Siraj once again struck with the new ball in just his second over of the powerplay. Skipper Samson and Riyan Parag looked to give RR a decent powerplay score despite a weak start; however, the happiness didn’t last long as Parag was dismissed in the over just at the end of the powerplay against the new left-arm seamer Kulwant Khejroliya.
The world’s highest T20 wicket-taker, Rashid Khan, returned to his prime form as he picked two big wickets in the form of Dhruv Jurel and Shubham Dubey. Prasidh Krihan proved fatal for the Royals tail as he dismissed batters at regular intervals, and eventually, with the wicket of Shimron Hetmyer, he ensured a victory for his team, which looked imminent for long.
The Titans sealed the game with a huge margin of 58 runs as they dismissed the Royals before the completion of their 20 overs.
