Midfielder, Will Hughes has signed a contract extension at Crystal Palace until June 2027.
Hughes’ current contract was set to expire this summer but the 29-year old has now signed a new two-year contract extension to keep him at Selhurst Park until June 2027.
Hughes has made 115 appearances since he joined from Watford in summer 2021 in which he has scored two goals and created eight assists, and twice helped the Eagles reach the FA Cup semi-finals – including this season where they will face Aston Villa on 26 April at Wembley Stadium.
Speaking about his new contract extension, Hughes commented: “I’m extremely happy to sign a new contract.
“I’ve really enjoyed my time here, so I’m delighted to extend it by a couple of years in what’s a really good moment as an individual and as a team collectively.”
Palace Chairman, Steve Parish added: “In addition to being an important player in our squad, Will exemplifies the hard work, humility – and humour – of our football club.
“He is a leader both on and off the pitch – a characteristic appreciated by both his teammates and supporters alike – and I am delighted to see him extend his time in red and blue.”
