
Delhi Capitals hired Kevin Pietersen as mentor for the IPL 2025 season in February.
Something that doesn’t happen too often has taken place. The Delhi Capitals (DC) mentor Kevin Pietersen has taken a break midway in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. DC beat the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at Chepauk on April 5, Saturday.
On April 6, Pietersen left for Maldives for a break. According to the Times of India, the English veteran will miss DC’s next game against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) on April 10.

After some tweaks at the ownership level, the Delhi Capitals have undergone a revamp. Hemang Badani and Venugopal Rao are the new head coach and Director of Cricket (DOC), while Munaf Patel joined as the bowling coach and Matthew Mott as fielding coach.
In February, Delhi named Kevin Pietersen as the mentor for the ongoing IPL season.
