Leeds United face backlash to 2025/26 season ticket price rise with the Supporters Trust with feedback in a meeting ‘not acted on’.
The Leeds United Supporters Trust has expressed disappointment that, despite engaging with the Championship outfit to discuss season ticket pricing concerns, the feedback provided by supporters appears to have been heard but not implemented.
Yorkshire Evening Post report that was a meeting between the Trust and club officials, including chief operating officer Morrie Eisenberg and CEO Angus Kinnear, where supporters’ concerns and suggestions were raised.
However, the Trust notes that the club’s subsequent announcement about season ticket renewals and price increases did not reflect the input they provided.

A Trust statement said: “Over the last few month’s we’ve been canvassing the opinions of our members around their expectations of pricing ahead of next season, regardless of which league we will be in.
“While we acknowledge that the club have engaged with us directly ahead of today’s announcement, it’s disappointing that they took away the feedback, but haven’t acted on any of it, which was not the outcome we wanted.
“We understand the club’s running costs increase each year, but with rising income from sponsors, TV rights, and match-day hospitality, we had hoped this additional revenue could offset any price increases for fans.
“The Trust’s feedback centered around three main topics, namely a price freeze, a reversal of 2024 concession price changes and a review of general matchday prices.
“We presented three main pieces of feedback to the club that came across loud and clear from fans – a general price freeze on season tickets and we hoped the club would lead by the example of some of the Premier League clubs, to rethink their concession prices based on the changes they made last season and to review the cost of general match day prices, general match day pricing has yet to be discussed in any detail.”
“Season ticket and match day ticket price increases are never welcomed, particularly during times of continued widespread economic pressures. ‘Stop Exploiting Loyalty’ is a campaign organised by the Football Supporters’ Association (FSA), which continues to express its frustration at rising costs for match-going fans, we continue to work with these groups to put more pressure on clubs to stop passing costs onto fans, especially with Leeds United having one of the most loyal fan bases in the country.
“It’s still unclear what price our fans are paying, some fans face larger increases than others as the club continues to level out season ticket legacy pricing, which aims to ensure that, in the future, no season ticket holder is paying more than the one sat next to them.
“It’s also disappointing that the club hasn’t taken the opportunity to address ongoing inconsistencies in concession pricing, particularly for supporters who remain in full-time education beyond the age of 16. Additionally, rising matchday prices risk making attendance unaffordable for some families, potentially harming the atmosphere at games and jeopardising the club’s future generation of fans.”

Usage conditions for General Admission Season Ticket holders
The new ‘usage’ term and condition implemented for the 2024/25 season will continue for the 2025/26 campaign.
Key Details of the usage condition:
Season Ticket Holders must attend 80% of the home league games at Elland Road or they will not be invited to renew for the following season. The aim of this initiative is to retain Elland Road’s unique and legendary atmosphere by keeping the stands as full as possible in support of the team.
Attendance shall be deemed to include:
1. Personal attendance at a match by a Season Ticket Holder using their Season Ticket
2. Attendance at a match by a friend or family member of the Season Ticket Holder, using the official ‘Ticket Forwarding Scheme’
3. A Season Ticket Holder puts their seat up for resale via the official ‘Ticket Exchange’ scheme
Pricing details:
– As communicated to supporters in last season’s renewal announcement, in order to be fairer to all fans and following supporter feedback, the club began the process of equalising pricing gradually over the course of several Season Ticket renewal periods, with the medium-term objective that all supporters seated in the same sections at Elland Road will pay the same price.
– There will be an increase in the cost of Season Tickets (based on 2024/25 prices), the percentage of which depends on the pricing tier, however for 2025/26 supporters who have held a Season Ticket for the longest tenure will still pay the cheapest price for a Season Ticket.
– Our pricing structure previously consisted of three pricing tiers, but there will be just two pricing tiers for the 2025/26 campaign as a result of levelling out.
– Season Ticket Prices will not be dependent upon the club’s divisional status, they will remain the same whichever league we are in for the 2025/26 campaign. Prices will start at £21.52 per game for adults based on 23 home matches, or £26.05 based on 19 home matches and £7.39 for Under-16s based on 23 home matches, or £8.95 based on 19 home matches.
– Leeds United Season Tickets still represent excellent value and are significantly cheaper than buying a ticket on a match-by-match basis.
– Supporters can spread the payment of a Season Ticket across a six- or 10-month instalment plan through our ticketing finance provider, V12 Finance*.
United for 20 Years Season Ticket Holders
As communicated last season, the United for 20 Years scheme expires at the end of the 2024/25 season, therefore all United for 20 Years ticket holders will need to apply online and pay for their 2025/26 season ticket. This group of supporters will be classed as renewals and their price tier will depend on their season ticket tenure and personal circumstances during the term of the scheme.
Disabled General Admission Season Ticket Holders
The club started to move towards fully implementing age related pricing for disabled Season Ticket Holders for the 2024/25 season. This approach will continue over the next few renewal periods, whereby adults will eventually pay the full adult price.
Seasonal Hospitality
Seasonal Hospitality guests will be emailed in due course with renewal details for the 2025/26 campaign.

As mentioned Leeds face backlash to season ticket price rise with Supporters Trust feedback ‘not acted on’…
@LUFCxRobbo96: 14% increase is criminal.
@RachaelMurrell: ‘Equalising pricing’ what a joke. Absolutely no reward for loyalty for those of us who paid over the odds to watch league 1 football. We absolutely should be paying less than those who jumped on band wagon after promotion back to the premier league.
@lufcchamps92: Gone up nearly £200 in 2 seasons
@GeorgeW_lufc: £632 when we could be playing the likes of Wrexham and Wycombe 🤢
@Iskra1234: 3rd year running of above-inflation price increases during an economic downturn! Kinnear out! 😂
@JoshLUFC17: Better get promoted now then…… if I’m paying a 14% increase want to see Haaland rocking up to elland road not Fred onyedinma
@PLZ1924: ‘Sales are limited to 0 for this supporter’ ……… oh come on Leeds, here I am wanting to part with my money and you’re saying I can’t??!!
@craiglufc97: 14% increase is absolute joke, £78 extra compared to last season, another increase next season would virtually bring my ticket to double the price it was 4 seasons before
@ChattingLeeds: Firstly mine has gone up by 27 pounds from last season and secondly, it’d be nice if your site worked for me to be able to process my renewal
@DanLUFC_: 14% increase for a season we’re going to win about 4 home games in if we go up is a bit of a joke guys
@mattylufc_: Would love to know the justification for my season ticket going up from £490 in 2022 to £632 in 2025. I mean there isn’t one other than “we are proper greedy bastards” is there?
@robdaws96: Another 15% increase, with a looming possibility of staying down and selling all of our good players in the summer – sound, nice one.
@SnoopD1990: £632 🫣 They know we will pay it as we will lose it with a ridiculous waiting list. At least upgrade the facilities, better in non league than kop/south stand #lufc
Really nice price hike, 20% is ridiculous. Also I’m not allowed to renew pic.twitter.com/JkdFIWAeNG

What the actual fuck??????? It was £555 last year and £632 this year. A 14% rise two years in a row! It’s Yorkshire you knobheads, not bloody California!! Up 50% in 4 years, 5 of you include the covid year we didn’t attend. #lufc https://t.co/3mLtOr0xNb pic.twitter.com/bmQzDeOwyN
