I have to say, using the Mixx StreamQ Bundle is as easy as it gets. Let’s start with the headphones.

First off, they sound great. The Dynamic 3D Surround Sound gives you a deep, immersive experience whether you’re watching a film, listening to music, or gaming. The Voice Mode is particularly useful for dialogue-heavy content—no more rewinding because you missed a line!

It is of note that the 3D soundstage is accurate, with effects whizzing around over your shoulders and the back of your head. This is especially fun if you’re watching action-heavy content.

The on-ear controls make operation super simple. Adjusting volume, pausing, or switching between the preset EQ modes (Voice, Cinema, and Music) is seamless. Also, the built-in mic means you can take calls without any fuss.

Keeping the moaning to a minimum

I really like this bundle, but there are a couple of minor things worth mentioning.

First, the StreamPort’s initial setup takes a little getting used to when toggling the correct mode and pairing with devices that aren’t the bundled cans.

If you’re not familiar with pairing Bluetooth audio devices, you might need to refer to the manual to get things connected properly. Once it’s set up, though, it works like a charm.

Secondly, while the headphones are super comfortable, they can get a bit warm after long listening sessions. Not a dealbreaker, but something to keep in mind if you’re planning on wearing them for hours on end.

In general, though, this is a solid piece of kit and for people with limited space it offers an awesome way to get the surround sound effects without the need for expensive and room-devouring 5.1 speaker systems.
