However, Arsenal’s early inconsistencies allowed unexpected contenders like Andre Onana of Manchester United and Matz Sels of Nottingham Forest to emerge in the race.
Everton’s Jordan Pickford, who was runner-up in the 2023/24 Golden Glove race with 13 clean sheets, remains a strong contender this season, continuing to showcase his reliability for the Toffees.
