Christian Pulisic and Yunus Musah will have the opportunity to lift a second trophy this Italian season.
Pulisic started and played 78 minutes as AC Milan booked its place into the Coppa Italia Final. The Rossoneri defeated rivals Inter 3-0 in second leg action on Wednesday, advancing on a 4-1 aggregate scoreline.
Musah dressed, but did not feature in the match.
Luka Jovic was the Man of the Match, scoring twice for the Rossoneri. Jovic opened the scoring in the 36th minute before adding to his tally five minutes into the second half.
Tijjani Reijnders added an insurance goal with five minutes to play, finishing off Rafael Leao’s pass into the back of the net.
Pulisic created two offensive chances, but overall endured a quiet performance.
AC Milan won the Supercoppa Italiana last January and now has another opportunity to lift a domestic cup by season’s end.
Bologna or Empoli will oppose the Rossoneri in the Coppa Italia Final on May 14.
