Rick Ross Agrees To Make Car Show Wheelchair Accessible After Lawsuit From Disabled Fan
Rick Ross has agreed to make his annual Car & Bike Show wheelchair accessible following a lawsuit from disabled attendee Darris Straughter.
Straughter, who uses a wheelchair, sued after the 2024 event failed to provide a promised accessible shuttle and refused to refund his ticket. In response, Ross will now provide round-trip wheelchair-accessible shuttles to designated disabled areas. Straughter’s attorney, John Hoover, stated,
“Thanks to Darris Straughter and the other wheelchair users who came forward, the upcoming Rick Ross Car & Bike Show will be so wheelchair accessible that even golf carts will be provided.”
While Ross has not publicly responded, the show returns June 7 at his “Promise Land” estate in Fayetteville, Georgia.
