Capital market regulator Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) said on Monday that it had resolved 4,371 complaints in March through its grievance redressal platform SCORES. The regulator received 4,156 complaints during the month, on top of the 4,161 unresolved complaints as of March 31, according to its data.
What is SCORES and what does it do?
Designed to enable investors to file complaints online, SCORES was launched by SEBI in June 2011. The platform facilitates the filing of complaints related to the securities market, companies, intermediaries and market infrastructure institutions (MIIs) online.
An improved version of the platform, called SCORES 2.0, was rolled out in April 2024.
