Exciting Thailand Tourism Festival
Bangkok, 25 March 2025 – The 43rd Thailand Tourism Festival 2025, hosted by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), will occur from 26 to 30 March at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. The event, themed “5 Must-Do Experiences in Thailand,” highlights Carbon Neutral Tourism, aligning with the “Amazing Thailand Grand Tourism & Sport Year 2025.” Free admission and the promise of inspiring travel experiences aim to encourage approximately 130,000 attendees and generate 45 million impressions.
Interactive Zones and Attractions
Spread across nine vibrant activity zones, the festival includes regional and themed highlight zones. Visitors will experience cultural showcases, delight in local cuisines, and participate in workshops. Each zone offers unique attractions, such as Hua Lamphong Railway Station recreations, regionally inspired performances, and sustainability-themed exhibits. Notable features include the Butterfly Kingdom, “Nong Ava” tiger cup animations, traditional dances, and much more.
Emphasizing Sustainable Tourism
Promoting sustainability, the festival boasts initiatives like “Zero Waste to Landfills” and encourages the use of public transport options. To facilitate low-impact attendance, an app provides venue maps and activity alerts. The festival also offers zones dedicated to sustainable travel goals, showcasing innovations like the plastic waste Bryde’s whale sculpture and offering discussions on environmental responsibility. The event underscores TAT’s dedication to making tourism a sustainable force for good.
