After injuries stunted Jacob deGrom’s first two seasons with the Texas Rangers, the two-time Cy Young winner looked like himself again in his first start of 2025. The veteran threw five shutout innings against the Boston Red Sox, striking out six while allowing two hits, two walks and hitting a batter.
In MLB history, 22 pitchers have won more than one Cy Young Award. If deGrom is able to recapture the form of his prime, he could be a serious contender for a third. With that being said, how many can you name in five minutes?
