Tottenham Hotspur have joined the hunt for Napoli left-back Mathias Olivera, as speculation over the Uruguayan’s future continues to grow ahead of the summer transfer window.
According to journalist Eduardo Burgos, Olivera could be on the move despite signing a contract extension with Napoli earlier this year that ties him to the club until 2030. The 27-year-old has been a reliable performer since arriving at Napoli from Getafe in 2022. This season, he’s featured in 30 Serie A matches, registering three goal contributions while showcasing his versatility as both a full-back and wing-back.
