Expanding its mid-range V series, Vivo—known for its camera-centric smartphones—launched the Vivo V50e handset on Thursday. Here is everything you need to know about the new smartphone, including its price, camera, display, and other features:
Camera features
For photography enthusiasts, the smartphone comes equipped with a 50MP Sony Multi-Focal Pro Portrait System and an eye-AF group selfie camera. According to Vivo, the device also features a dedicated Wedding Portrait Studio mode.
Display
With an ultra-slim profile of just 0.739 cm, the V50e sports a quad-curved AMOLED display, offering an immersive edge-to-edge viewing experience.
Performance & battery
The Vivo V50e is equipped with a 5600 mAh ultra-large battery that supports 90W fast charging — the fastest charging speed offered in the V series to date, according to the company.
In terms of performance, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor, built on a 4nm architecture. It allows users to run and switch between more than 25 apps in the background simultaneously without reloads.
AI features
For productivity, the V50e includes several AI-powered tools such as AI Image Expander, AI Transcript Assist, AI Note Assist, Live Call Translation, and AI SuperLink.
Colours & availability
The company has launched the V50e model in two variants: 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. Initially, these variants will be available at Rs 28,999 and Rs 30,999. Currently, the smartphone is offered in two colour options: Sapphire Blue and Pearl White.
