Liverpool look to cruise closer towards the Premier League title as they meet Merseyside rivals, Everton at Anfield.
Victory could see Liverpool re-open their 12-point lead at the summit, whilst Everton can climb to 13th with a win.
Team News
Alisson is expected to be available for Liverpool after recovering from a concussion suffered in their 2-1 win over Colombia in 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifying.

Everton could be without Vitaliy Mykolenko after he suffered a thigh injury whilst on international duty for Ukraine.

When is Kick-Off?
Liverpool host Everton at Anfield on Wednesday 2 April at 8pm BST, live on Sky Sports Main Event in the UK.
Stat Attack
- Liverpool have lost one of their last seven meetings against Everton (W4, D2, L1).
- Everton have won one of their last six league visits to Liverpool at Anfield (W1, L5).
- Each of the last four Merseyside derbies played at Anfield have ended in 2-0 results, with Liverpool winning three of those four games.
- Liverpool have kept one clean sheet at home in the top-flight since the turn of 2025 (W4, D1).
- Everton have kept one clean sheet in their last four away games (W2, D2).
Prediction
Having tasted defeat without scoring in both of their last two games in all competitions before the international break, Liverpool need to just reset now that the league title is theirs to lose because they were just second-best in their Carabao Cup final defeat to Newcastle until too late.
Everton meanwhile often lacked a final touch to their creative end product in their 1-1 draw against West Ham two-and-a-half weeks ago amidst solid defending aside from Tomas Soucek’s goal, where the defensive marking just lapsed focus which can’t happen here if they want to spring a surprise.
I however do think that the break will of revitalised Liverpool who should get a routine win if keep their cool unlike at Goodison Park in February in a hot-tempered contest.
Prediction: Liverpool 2-1 Everton
