Manchester City continue their top-four push in a Premier League clash at home to Crystal Palace.
Victory or a draw would lift City up to fourth in the table until Sunday afternoon, whilst Palace can climb to tenth with a win.
Team News
Man City have no fresh injury concerns following their goalless draw at local rivals, Manchester United.
Nathan Ake (foot), Manuel Akanji (muscle), Erling Haaland (ankle), John Stones (thigh) and Rodri (knee) remain ruled out.
Palace will be without Marc Guehi and Eddie Nketiah after the pair were red carded in a dramatic home win over Brighton.
Chris Richards (calf) and Maxence Lacroix (concussion) will be fit for selection, but Matt Turner and Romain Esse miss out due to illness.
Cheick Doucoure and Chadi Riad (both knee) remain sidelined.
When is Kick-Off?
Man City host Palace at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday 12 April at 12:30pm BST, live on TNT Sports 1 in the UK.
Stat Attack
- Man City are unbeaten in their last six meetings against Palace (W3, D3).
- Palace have won one of their last five trips to Man City (W1, D2, L2).
- City have conceded twice in each of their last three home matches against Palace (W1, D1, L1).
- Omar Marmoush has scored five goals in three of City’s last four home matches in the top-flight.
- Palace have kept just one clean sheet in their last four league games (W3, D1).
Prediction
Having laboured to a lacklustre goalless draw at Man Utd with little quality, Man City really need to step it up a gear if they’re to put pressure on Chelsea and Newcastle for a top-four finish and more clinical composure will be a start.
Palace on the other hand looked electric and full of energy in their win over Brighton with great attacking intensity and quality, with Eberechi Eze in particular hitting his peak form which could pose an issue for City’s defence but Guehi will be a big loss in the Eagles’ own defence.
For me though, the start will be key because if City start well then they will win this but if Palace get ahead first, I fancy them to go on and nick this against a pretty inconsistent City team.
Prediction: Man City 1-2 Crystal Palace
