Wrexham host Leyton Orient in a huge rearranged Sky Bet League One encounter at the Racecourse Ground.
Victory could see Wrexham climb to second if Wycombe lose elsewhere, whilst Leyton Orient can move up to fifth if Huddersfield fail to win at Shrewsbury.
Team News
Paul Mullin is available for Wrexham after he was left out of the matchday squad in their 2-0 win at Northampton for tactical reasons by manager, Phil Parkinson.
Elliot Lee is unlikely to be risked as he nears a return to first-team action after his involvement in a road accident, whilst Callum Burton (thigh), Luke Bolton and Will Boyle (both calf) remain absent.
Leyton Orient have no fresh injury concerns to report following their 3-2 home win over Lincoln City.
Ollie O’Neill (unspecified), Omar Beckles (hamstring) and Jordan Graham (knee) remain sidelined.
When is Kick-Off?
Wrexham host Leyton Orient at the Racecourse Ground on Tuesday 18 February at 7:45pm GMT, live on Sky Sports+ in the UK.
Stat Attack
- Wrexham have won one of their last six EFL meetings against Leyton Orient (W1, D4, L1).
- Leyton Orient have won two of their last five regular-season trips to Wrexham (W2, D1, L2).
- Two of Wrexham’s last five meetings against Leyton Orient ended in 0-0 draws.
- Wrexham have claimed four points in three home games in 2025 (W1, D1, L1), with Oli Rathbone having scored in their last two home games.
- Leyton Orient have kept just one clean sheet in three away games in 2025 (W2, D1), in which they scored nine goals and conceded four.
Prediction
Knowing that a win could see them move up into the second and last automatic promotion spot if Wycombe lose elsewhere, Wrexham really need to be as clinical as they were at Northampton because they’re in a the beginning of a busy run of fixtures with little turn-around time so building winning momentum is key at this stage.
Leyton Orient though have been quite a beast on the road since the turn of 2025 but I do feel that this will be their toughest test so far, although they should hold little fear given how strong they’ve been in their last two league games so am expecting another strong attacking display but must be more defensively solid than against Lincoln City.
This clash ultimately does feel like it could be huge for both clubs in their promotion pushes so I wouldn’t be surprised if Wrexham can dig in for a draw.
Prediction: Wrexham 1-1 Leyton Orient
