Stat Attack
- Fulham have avoided defeat in three of their last five meetings against Chelsea (W2, D1, L2).
- Chelsea have lost one of their last six visits to Fulham (W5, L1).
- Cole Palmer has scored in each of Chelsea’s last two clashes against Fulham.
- Rodrigo Muniz and Ryan Sessegnon have both scored in Fulham’s last two league matches at home (W2).
- Chelsea have failed to score in two of their three away London derbies since the turn of 2025 (D2, L1).
Prediction
Although Champions League qualification is unlikely, Fulham still have a great shot at a Europa League or Conference League spot if they can continue their recent home form.
Marco Silva’s Cottagers however do have to be more clinical than they were in defeat at Bournemouth where a slow start cost them despite their dominance, especially in the second half but the Cherries’ defence were just too good on the night.
Chelsea meanwhile really need to find a way to stop their away slump but they’ve not been particularly convincing at times in the past month, which was underlined by a lacklustre defeat to Legia Warsaw at home with a strong forward line lacking grit or quality.
A huge improvement from the Blues is therefore imperative but if Fulham can turn up with the same spirit that shocked Liverpool a fortnight ago, I can see the Cottagers taking a rare league double over their local rivals.
Prediction: Fulham 2-1 Chelsea
